Putri (Ai) Dewanti, deputy managing director of APCO Worldwide’s Jakarta office, brings to clients over a decade of experience advising corporations on issue management, strategic communications and government relations to elevate their businesses and reputation in Indonesia. Having worked both in-house and on the agency side, she has a thorough understanding of the communications issues and challenges from both environments.
Ms. Dewanti has consulted for a number of global and independent PR agencies, developing and executing strategic and highly targeted stakeholder outreach plans for their business and consumer clients. She has also worked in the oil and gas industry where she was instrumental in the management and execution of various key external and internal communications program for Indonesia’s large petroleum services business company. During her tenure there, Ms. Dewanti was also a key member in the G-to-G arrangement between the Republic of Indonesia and one of the Middle East countries for a refinery project plan. She also has experience as an assistant for international relations and documentation at Indonesia’s 24-hour news TV station.
Ms. Dewanti is a graduate of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Indonesia.
